The key is to go unbeaten between now and the end of the season, if we do that then playoffs is guaranteed, it's doable

Clive, "unbeaten" doesn't necessarily mean winning every match. I'd agree, thats (just about) do-able, if the squad works together, if Heckingbotttom gets the support he needs (And Orta stops f00king about), and we don't get any suspensions/injuries to any of the players we all know are key to making that possible, but...........

Unless we WIN every match, then as usual, we are subject to the whims of lady luck, and what other teams do. We depend therefore on whether all the teams above have as mare of a tail end of a season as we have had in the middle, and those around us (Ipswich etc), do the same.

Sorry fella, not likely, and unfortunately of late we have always had to contend with what is likely, as opposed to what we hope for.

Heckingbottom should have the remainder of the season to show what he can do with another mans squad, Radrizzani should listen to Heckingbottom about what positions require strengthening and support him in finding the right players to plug the gaps and tell Orta (goddammit, threw up on my best trainers!) to do what is required to recruit, or f00k the hell off.

2018/19 is when we should EXPECT to be in the playoffs and hope for automatic promotion, not this. Nor would we be in a position to survive in the PL if promoted this season, no matter what we spend or who we bring in. We don't have the infrastructure in place to do that, not yet.

still bangin on about Orta WTF? its not like he can sign more players now.

Couldnt be clearer, its about The Heck and the current squad, so maybe give the Orta thing a rest for the next few games and support the team until its mathematically impossibe, afterwards, you can start bangin on about what Orta can do for next season, yeah?

radrizaani wont listen to heckingbottom , thats why orta is there to pick the players.

orta operates on the budget radrizaani will spend , which will be considerably less, than what is actually needed to turn this team in to genuine promotion contenders ,

heckingbottom is merely the fall guy, when it all goes tits up again.

Yes BB, "banging on" about that man.

Just because he can't sign anyone between now and seasons end doesn't mean he won't interfere, both with the selection of players (to make sure his "investments" get into the Leeds shop window), and the positioning and time on the pitch of those players, to make sure they get maximum exposure. Don't tell me it doesn't happen, nor that previous coaches have been "their own men", when patently they haven't, subservient to what their lords and masters have told them to do. The jury is out as yet as to whether Heckingbottom is any more independent than Hockaday was, (I hope he is!).

I will support, and have supported the coach/manager and current squad, (with one notable exception that I won't change my mind on), irrespective of the prospect of promotion etc. but why the f00k should I restrict my criticism of a man who has (almost singlehandedly), wrecked any prospect of actually creating a TEAM (not depending on a single player!) that could have achieved that this season (because mathematically possible or not, it won't happen this season)?

Supporting team and coach whilst wishing that the DoF would fall off a cliff/under a bus are not incompatible. Do a quick trawl of the other boards, social media, and try and find anyone of things the man is worth oxygen, never mind a salary at Leeds, in any capacity.

if that were true i might agree, trouble with you though, is that you work purely from conjecture, absolutely no evidence, whatsoever to back up your theory that Orta directly interferes with team selection. So, im afraid, you last post must be considered complete bollox unfortunately.

what winds people up about you, is that if your going to base your thesis on suposition and conjecture, isnt it just as easy to put a positive spin on your bollox rather than a negative one? Afterall, its all bollox,so doesnt everyone prefere to read something more positive?

orta is the middle man in the chain , most clubs operate, manager to owner /chairman

the director of football , he is responsible for the introduction of the cheap foreign imports to this club , the world beaters like wiedwald and sacko etc . the idea been be able to save a few quid in the transfer market .

any manager worth his salt wants to pick his own players , within the required budget for the season , this team needs strengthening with at least five or six quality players minimum , in key areas which in reality will cost millions, something radrizaani is not prepared to do. . ortas job is to do it at a far cheaper price . thats the crux of the problem no matter who the manager is at the time .

all the managers we get will be from a lower level and unproven at this level like christianson and heckngbottom.
because established, experienced and successful managers will never work under this system , and wont touch this job with a bargepole, they wont have somebody else interfering in team selection and how much they are going to cost the club.

until changes at the top are made , we will go through the same rigmorole and routine every season
