    Yes 1971 I was 17 in the Fulwell end about 4 Millwall down the front stood out a mile with thier clobber and long hair

    we were 3-1 up you came back 3-3 and Possee scored the equaliser

    I remember that I was not far from the pitch on the left side of the goal...so I might be one of those phuckers!
    As for the match itself, other than coming back from 3/1 down,what really struck me was the aerial battle between Barry Kitchener,our centre half and Dave Watson...that was really a battle of the Giants.

    was Harry Cripps playing then, one of those names you never forget.

    Loud and intimidating! I have no idea what it is like now in the new stadium but I imagine it must be dismal to say the least.

    When it first opened the SOL was fantastic of course we were doing well but these last few seasons have drained the heart out of the supporters, we just go expecting to get beat which is sad really. Also think the fans thes days are different to what we were when we were young all they want is premier league.
