It's always hard to have a foot in both camps, but i was interested in your opinion - given the way the season's gone, have the players that were bought last summer been worth the (fairly significant) money spent? And if not, where does the responsibility for those choices lie, and what is the level of accountability beyond TC?
You know very well in private why I cannot answer that Jez.

I am prepared to say that most players bought in have had an opportunity to establish themselves albeit under different managers and coaches and those here prior likewise.Obviously time was needed to gel, younger players needed game time for experience and settling into a new environment/country also comes into consideration as does pressure from folks like us.

Put another way I once asked a musician,Bobby Gillespie, what his band was going to produce for a £1million contract on offer as he had changed his very successful band members line up that had prior earned the Studio quite substantial profit.
His answer was ...... "give me time' and you'll get the result wanted.
The contract signed had conditions of course !
It was signed and he was never late for recording sessions, promised to curb his, err, excessive lifestyle for three months and produced a decent album followed by a money spinning tour.

So with Leeds - I don't know what the Rad expected from his 'new line up'.
I don't know what his terms and conditions are.
But like any owner he will react and has the financial flexibility to do so.

Staff come and go in football likewise music and punters like us pay with our feet ultimately - it's a risk business.
