Halfway through as we speak - very interesting. A very pragmatic manager who also has more sense of humour than I thought. Some good stories during the conversation.

I think, in the time he has left as a manager, it will hard to replicate a fragment of what he did at Liverpool here as they were essentially willing to owe a lot of money to put together a good team. Here, we're more limited.

His answer to the last question regarding Mitrovic doesn't quite do it for me though. I still think he could've played a big role and given us more goals than Gayle/Joselu (all credit to Gayle for his latest form).

What a great, fantastic listen that was. it would be a good thing if all, including Rafa's detractors hear this discussion RIGHT through and analyse just what has been discussed.

Honestly and without beating with sticks it would be a revelation for the detractors to listen with intent and get some feeling about this.

Aye I get where your coming from but if you think about what he actually said, regarding possession I think he's right.
Raffa knows Joselu is sh i t,he just can't say it.If we remain in the prem which I hope and pray we do,we won't see Joselu again.
Who knows we might not have seen the last of Mitro,if he keeps scoring for Fulham and has a good world cup you never know.

They or he won't admit to listening to it even if they did,sad feckers.

Sadly I'm afraid you are right there Ash. They would probably or possibly start off but won't want to risk anything which may disturb their current distasteful bias.
