I know there are those on here that have written him off already and remain in their fantasy world that there is a queue of wealthy people waiting in the wings desperate to plough money into our club but there is nothing to indicate this is true.

What we do have is a successful businessman willing to let his heart rule his head and invest his money into our club. He had been successful in business and doesn’t strike me as a fool.

He has achieved more in life and in business I would guess than most of the posters on here so forgive me for having more confidence in him than I do in many of the professional critics that make a lot of noise.

He has not done anything yet and for me he will get the benefit of the doubt as our new chairman. The past is the past. Let’s move on and get behind the club.
Do you write Arab Trusts statements for them by any chance?

I second this. We also need openness from our leader. We've had enough of the mushroom treatment.

In life you get people who always look for the negative and enjoy raking over the past and refusing to see any positivity. These people are so boring and tiring to be around. Forgive me for seeing a new chairman coming in to be a positive step forward. The poor guy was trying his best to reassure the fans that he has the best interests of the club at heart and I believe him. It seems that for some they would expect some self flagellation from him perhaps in the city square for a week as penance for his previous involvement in the club when some questionable decisions have been made.

He seems to be a credible person with a great deal of success in his business life. These type of people do not grow on trees and it is unusual to find business men willing to put their own money into football. Lets give him a chance. It would be great to unite behind him and the team and try our best to salvage this season

Has to be said that is a very interesting interview in the Courier.

Perhaps there is a bit more hope with our new Chairman. Judgement reserved but think there is certainly a bit more positivity there.

The fact we can get our best ever sponsorship deal while in the championship is pretty impressive going in my book. Someone is clearly doing a great job.

As long as the not ruling out sharing facilities with the trophy virgins doesn't mean any plan of moving us from Tannadice which is an excellent wee stadium that more than matches or needs then he will get the benefit of the doubt from me for now in the short term
