Thread: A Rafa podcast..

  1. #11
A lot of posters may have forgotten Wilf when he had his tantrum and tried to bring the board down. He also sucked up to Five on the Mackem Board then disappeared onto his own forum talking to himself.

Still on here in his many guises and he has never been to a Toon game

The guy is a prize bulls knacker.

Raffa knows Joselu is sh i t,he just can't say it.If we remain in the prem which I hope and pray we do,we won't see Joselu again.
Who knows we might not have seen the last of Mitro,if he keeps scoring for Fulham and has a good world cup you never know.
I'm not so sure though Ash that Mitro couldn't be part of our current setup, tactically speaking. What you need on the counter is a strong, Serbian lad who can hold up the ball (he needs to improve on that), receive crosses and head 'em in whilst generally terrifying defenders. His goal ratio record here isn't really that bad when you think of the amount of times he's been given only 15-20 minutes. The Perez and Gayle/Joselu constellation has largely been unsuccessful, and it could have easily been worth giving Mitro a lengthy go just to see if we could do something differently attacking-wise in the games.

This is the thing though I'm not sure either lol.
Rafa doesn't come across as either arrogant or stubborn but he is a meticulous coach.
Whether he takes this too far sometimes? maybe he does..I still hope he is our manager next season.

Thanks Ash, nice to hear it from the horses mouth for a change. Let's hope Ashley sells up and the new owners get behind Rafa.
