Jody Morris
Is Ken Keyworth the only Rotherham born player to play for the Millers and score a goal in a FA Cup Final.
Mark Hooper - 1935 FA Cup winner with Wednesday. Moved to the Millers late in his career. My dad (RIP) told me that he saw him play at Millmoor and that Hooper was still a good player and a classic case of "if only we could have signed him a few years earlier" . Most of those games were during WW2 so are not in the official records, but he did play for the Millers in the FA Cup in 1946.

The only other Rotherham born player i can think of who scored in a fa cup final was Jackie Stamps, he scored 2 goals in a 4-1 win for Derby Co v Charlton 1946, he made 233 apps for the Rams and scored 100 goals but never played for the Millers, he was definitely one that slipped through the net.!!!!
Sheff united won the cup in about 1926 with an ex keeper of ours or Roth County called Sutcliffe. Can't remember all details. Think they beat Arsenal.
Hasn't David Seaman won one or two? Rotherham born![]()
Well spotted, Jock! We've got another one...
Charles Sutcliffe - goalkeeper for Sheffield Utd. in their 1925 FA Cup final 1-0 victory over Cardiff City.
He played for Rotherham County 1920-24. We signed him from Leeds City. Earlier in his life he had a lucky break, when he missed sailing on the Titanic's doomed voyage, because he had a cold.
