Silly one liners don't cut it on here. As your old pals on Banter have pointed out you'll do anything to get in with the "in crowd." Well on MM the "in crowd" are a bunch of saddoes so don't bother. Roly and raging are doing a sociology o level - hence the Chomsky bullshine.

That's OK. If you steer clear of Mike Mullah, Roly Poly and the Bogus Miner you'll do fine.

That doesn't really narrow it down Sickly. There are many kinds of liberalism. Would you say you were a social liberal, a classical liberal, a conservative liberal, a wishy-washy liberal, an economic liberal....?

I enjoyed Amy Chua's book, Political Tribes. In part it argues that at heart humans are tribal and feel most comfortable in association with similar people. Multiculturalism is a doomed experiment. On this analysis "liberalism" - of the wishy, washy variety - is merely a representation of white, post-colonial guilt.

Interesting question, in an idealistic sense I would say anarchy appeals. I am wary of Marxists or any creed that feels they have all the answers. Without a doubt I would say I stand on the left, certainly I don't have all the answers.
