How do you think Slimani looked?

I was a bit worried we would see Fatani but he looked in good shape and after he had been on 2/3 mins went into a sprint almost from a standing start so must be fit. Gave a bit more of a focal point and caused a bit of confusion in the run up to the goal. 7/10

he looked ok. more mobile than I imagined.

shame he can't play next week. but he should have a pressure free 6 games to showcase his talents.

I think their 'keeper may have been panicked having Slimani behind him when the cross came in leading to the goal.

Think if Gayle had been there he'd have caught it rather than punched it.

Aye - he looked more ready for action than i was expecting.

I think he'll start the next game he's eligible to play.

Dunno, tho. If Gayle continues to miss chances...

no more so than if we had had mitro on the pitch

i didnt see anything that would make me think he will do that much
    ran around a lot

but only had a few minutes on the pitch
cant explain why the change wasnt made earlier
if gayle was still on the pitch now he still wouldnt score
    just not his day

I won't make any comment on how good he could be for us until I see him start a game after Leicester.
I just have a sneaky feeling that he'll come up injured when we play Arsenal.
Pessimistic of me but then again Slimani hasn't exactly given me anything other than that to think on.
I hope I'm wrong and he starts.....or at least gets a large amount of second half game time.
I won't hold my breath though.
