Cant defend a tackle like that. Heart on your sleeve is one thing, but pure stupidity is another.
And Jansson booked again probably for mouthing.
Our players just aren't very smart or good.

    So:
BPF - a couple of great saves, a real prospect
Dallas is not a FB, but his delivery is atrocious, so what is he ?
Berardi is not good enough, plenty of effort (sometimes too much) but nothing much to offer beyond that
Jansson - generally OK, but another stupid card, I wonder if his main problem is a lack of brains
O'Connor - for a first game did pretty well, and passed intelligently, which is nice to see
Vieira - generally pretty solid, but still prone to the odd terrible pass
Phillips - I thought did well in the 1st half, but faded
Alioski - as usual loads of effort and some nice touches, but I'm starting to wonder if there is much more he will ever offer, and still falls over too easily
Hernandez - great goal, but too many over-ambitious passes which got cut out, and too many runs when a simple pass would have been better
Saiz - has PH spoiled his attacking threat ? he seems very peripheral now, and apart from the late free kick was mostly a bystander
Lasogga - for whatever reason clearly can't make an impact, not the answer
Ekuban - ran a lot but didn't add anything really
Roofe - made a difference I thought, got into some good positions and linked quite well
Anita - even in the few minutes he was on caused some nervous moments, shouldn't be anywhere near defensive positions

    Overall very poor, again..........

A bit of aggression is nice to see especially now we really have nothing to play for, but getting sent off and stupid bookings I no unnerstan. Hope the results though helps send em down. We look disjointed in large parts IMO.

It wasn't even aggressive it was just a dumb dangerous tackle. I'll defend any tackle that is just full blooded
