I really don't understand this mindset.
He was a good player for us and made us some money when he moved on

Ryan Gauld is being mentioned on another forum, not sure if he would be a good signing or not but I would imagine he is better than Ali Crawford.

    Agree.
Not that great but better than Crawford.

Another “classic” McInnes type signing would be Lewis MacLeod.
Young player that left SEVCO to go to Brentford.
He got injured & lost his way - not sure if still injured?

I have also heard that the McGeough deal is not necessarily dead, his agent is trying to get us to up our offer by telling the media he has offers down south.

One of the more recent urban myths that should be nipped in the bud.

Go on then, nip it in the bud.

Jonny Hayes signs new Aberdeen contract extension

    From Feb 2017
Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes has signed a contract extension until the summer of 2019.

The 29-year-old Irishman was the subject of three failed bids from Cardiff City during the January transfer window.

"I was more than happy to sign again and I have appreciated every minute that I have been here," said Hayes, who moved to Pittodrie in 2012.

"I am still enjoying it as well, working under the manager."
