Please note, I may or may not be as old as you, but I attended my first game at Meadow Lane in 1954! That Is 64 years ago.

But you make a fair point that football fans generally should try to see the broader picture rather than overreacting to good or bad moments in the course of a season, or even a single game.

I was very disappointed to read the early posts on today's match thread. I was always brought up to believe that football was a game of two halves, and lasted at least 90 minutes.

Quite right. Those who either gloat or throw in the towel even though it's only half time are often left looking very, very stupid.

I think anyone that moaned at half time were well within their rights to vent, its called a message board and I thought it's freedom of speech on here? Notts were not at the races in the first half but then the penny dropped and they closed the game out very well, an excellent win that many could not see coming but were pleasantly surprised.
