Let me explain with an example. Someone once wrote 'Pamela Hunt Is A C*nt' on my form blackboard at school. Wasn't me, I 'wasn't responsible', but I knew who did and could have stopped him. So my hand went up when teach asked, I 'took responsibility'. Cost me a ruler over my hand, might cost GR his job, but the same thing.

1. No she wasn't, it was just someone who thought they were funny but weren't and put it in verse (maybe it was Rog).
2. I thought taking one for the team might get me some Brownie points with a new group of pals who, coming from 'town' schools, were clearly more worldly wise than village school country bumpkin me. The girls thought I was 'sweet' for doing it, the boys thought I was stupid - on balance I decided that was worth a smack on the palm with a wooden ruler.
