It means "after that" or "subsequently". In hindsight it seems you might have meant to use the word "than" which is a word that indicates "in preference to".

I do not wish to appear like an English teacher on my first day and I just read what you wrote. You appear to be a very offensive person calling a total stranger a fool and an idiot. Are there no rules concerning abuse on this forum?
There are Geoff. There are also, apparently, steps Mods follow in this starting with a word in the ear, an admonishment, a warning, short ban, longer ban, even longer ban and finally, a permanent ban.

In the past few months there has been a swathe of "angry young things" who can't spell properly, have poor grammar that is then understood as it has been written. You challenge the poster who then gets verbally abusive as you have purposely misunderstood what he/she wrote. The truth is that the poster knew exactly what he intended to say but the vocabulary used did not convey that intended meaning. Some of these posters were the same person who, at times was having conversations with himself as well as annoying the hell out of the rest of the posters.

BTW - I am a retired English teacher
