So you agree they generate more cash through ticket sales. That makes them a bigger fan base in my eyes. There is no point in saying Aberdeen has 100k fans but only 10k turn up week in week out.

Hibs have had 60,000 more in than us this season. We’ll be building a ground that’s harder to get to than the current one.

They have only ever averaged more than us a season, for 7 seasons out of 43 going back to 1975.

They seem to bring more to a Hampden when we play them too, although it’s obviously easier for the junky tramps to get there. I just think now that Easter Rd is complete, they’re probably now starting from better position from here on in. We could be mortgaging ourselves up to the eyeballs just to keep up with them, which would be funny

First scottish cup in a hundred years has helped, two seasons ago in the first division they were averaging just 8000.

Reverse the situation and put Edinburgh where Aberdeen is in terms of distance to Hamdump, how many would hubz/hertz bring then?
With the exception of the last semi final against Hibs in 2017, we have taken more to hamdump in the matches against Hibs, despite being far further away.

Ifs buts and maybes. Would we get 8000 in the first division? Thankfully, we’ll never found out. We were outnumbered about five to one in the 2000 semi against Hibs.

Nah, I can't recall the numbers but no way was it 5 to 1 and it was 6 o'clock on a Sunday night.
I'm sure we took about 8 thousand down, maybe double that of Hibs?
I'm sure the crowd was about 23k.

15k/16k this season not 10k. We are still a bigger club than those two. End of story.
