First of all Im NOT from Barnsley/South Yorkshire though and I got seriously fed up with Hecky last season, and even more so I wanted him out this season becauase I believed he was taking us down this time.
Its often been suggested that Mick doesnt want the job here because he doesnt want to tarnish his reputation with his hometown club, because he knows hes well loved by 99% of fans and that might all turn sour with some bad management etc.

Larry (Simon) Grayson left our neighbours Bradford today and he might be in the running for our job, and now that West Brom are down from the Premship Darren Moore might be a good shout if he wants to drop down to Lg One.
West Brom will want to try and keep hold of Darren Moore, he has done a fantastic job so far in beating the likes of Man Utd, drawing against Liverpool and beating Tottenham but as Southampton won tonight against Swansea, it wasn’t enough for them to stay up they should of got rid of Pardew sooner.

Lee Johnson has been in the frame to become the next West Brom boss to try and get them back up the Premier League next season but I think that would be unfair on Darren Moore, for the hard work he has put in since he took temporary charge after the sacking of Alan Pardew.

Simon Grayson has a good record in League One in getting teams promoted back into the Championship and is not a bad bet either but I don’t think Mick would be worried about his reputation or what the fans think of him after what he went through at Ipswich so he be up for the challenge no doubt.

The Ippy fans were and are mostly critical about Mick to be honest, about his alleged negative style of footy.
Hes not had much of a pot to pee in there and they didnt even give him a free tractor ride during his time there, so isnt that disgraceful eh!.
Im not sure if West Brom will want to keep hold of Daz Moore now, they might want to splash out on a so called bigger name who knows about Champship promotion.
Larry (and his predecessor at Bradford) Stuart McCall knows about Lg One, and so do Graham Alexander and Mark Warburton, and even Gary Bowyer that the Blackypool oranger lashers.

He was on little budget and did well for what he did at Ipswich and got harsh punishment from the fans, though I feel the fans frustration that they wanted to step up a gear and they deserved to be a play-off chasing team, Mick did well for staying on long
for what he did to become the longest serving manager in the Championship.

He took Ipswich as far as he could of took them and accomplished in what he set out to do and he left on his own terms and gave the helm to someone else, who can take the club forward and onto the next stage of their journey.

If I was Darren Moore I would take the job in a flash because they got a good thing going on right now, the teams morale is the best it’s been in ages and if he was to, not take the role he will be getting rid of all the hard work he has invested in the team and someone could take the helm and do a far worse job than what he has done.

He be stupid in not taking the job.

Ok Ram I agree, West Brom would do well to keep him on because hes impressed hasnt he in these last 4 games (was it 3 wins and a draw). And if they dont keep him on, then I reckon Daz Moore could be a great appointment for somebody else at a lower league level.

Play-offs/relegation sums it up pretty nicely.

It was meant to be a thread ALL about the Play offs Ram kid, and it wasn't meant to be about the relegation thing and even about my/our team either (even though I appreciate that).

Hey whats Steve 'Dutch' MacLaren doing these days ?.
