I think me and You have seen Regis and Cunnigham play more than these pair of Clowns, Id have swapped either one for Bryan Robson!

He keeps disappearing when I talk about anything pre-2000.

Why would a middle aged West Brom fan shy away from such a question?

Don't think Wolverhampton was classed as Black Country in them days mate. So that don't count.

Not sure where you live but I'd tread carefully going on what you've said.

That's going back a bit and before my time. The one I can remember was when we drew 2-2 in 1977 and it was around the time when we had all the greats - Wile, Statham, Willie, Giles, Cunningham, Bomber, Cantello and Paddy. Ups and downs around that era including about a year or so before when Bomber scored the winning goal at Oldham creating a pitch invasion - what a day that was!

THE 2-2 was the first time we had played them since the early 70's, since they went down as we came up. I think Norman Bell put them one up before we scored two, and then i think it was either Daley or Sunderland equalised for them.
I went to the Molineux for the return game game,a 1-1 draw, John Trewick equalising with almost the last kick, after Richards had given them the lead.
Between the late 60's to the early 80's i went to every Black Country derby home and away.
In all that time either one or the other of us were the top dogs, and it's still happening today.
