Big party ( OTT) Some say ? at our Owners Penthouse suite in Town !

On Sunday night after the Derby County game , all players and staff invited , most attended apparently ?? Nearby residents and fans seem to have been less than impressed ,and thought it was poor behaviour by the club , this also got quite rowdy allegedly , Goose n Gander !!!

The thing is was it a party or the lads out after a serious knock back and having a good drink and got a bit rowdy and let off some steam , these lads are all pretty young let's not forget .

It probably doesn't come across too great and that's always the danger in today's world .

I can almost guarantee this story would have had a different feel had we won the game and stayed up last sunday .

Understandable mate but tarn centre, same day as we relegated. It wouldve probably been best to let the dust settle a little and keep a low profile. It was still a bit raw. They're only human at end ot day.

I think it's right to expect a certain level of behaviour from the players but I think also we have to factor in the situation .

Last game of the season and a few weeks on the pop before pre season training begins .

They've just got relegated and hurting , a few beers numbs the pain .

No doubt the suite was well stocked with alcohol and paid on .

They are young lads and no different to the rest of us at that age .

    Nobody got arrested .

A bit of perspective needed in my opinion .

Watched thing on telly today about a RL player (Fox?) who missed a kick that cost someone a trophy at Wembley.
One of his team mates said the drink after was ( even though they’d Lost ) one of the best night out he’d ever had with his team mates

As painful a moment for any Wakefield Trinity fan as you can get , cheers jules even though I was only a nipper at the time and didn't start following Trinity until 1982 .

The kick in the last minute would have won Trinity their 9th challenge cup and it was against Leeds and we haven't looked like winning it again since .

A bit of a Barnard moment for the Trinity faithful , thanks for that .
