The point is that he was first to start it but when others retaliate and give it back he can't take in and starts to whinge. No backbone comes to mind.

In truth Lascelles is worth nothing, same as any player, until someone pays an asking price or a hagglined price and then that player becomes that price to the selling club buyt money worthless to the buying club until they sell him on....and so on.

I think what you're looking for is that the club or a player is only worth as much as the highest bid. To say that Lascelees and NUFC are worth nothing is stupid, and following that logic we should sell either for one quid.

So the Crown Jewels, which cannot be sold, are worth nothing? Worth is not only in what someone pays - you get an idea of worth by comparing with other, similar products that have already been sold. If your house was worthless I can tell you now that your bank would never give you a mortgage.
