Thread: All quiet on the takeover thingy

You could probably have said the same about Ferguson's first couple of seasons though.

And McLean. The club went backwards for 3 years but the board were assured that they had the right man despite what some supporters felt about McLean. Results and performances weren't particularly good in the early years.

I'm not suggesting that Csaba will be like McLean but it illustrates the point that you will not always see signs in the first 6 months that a manager will be a long term success.

But Burnley have stuck with Dyche for example and proven right. Europe for 1st time in 50 years or something.

Burnley have millions to spend on a team.
Mclean and Ferguson started in a different era.
Sorry, but the arguments for keeping Csaba are so weak.
He was given a task, he failed to acheive it.
His tactics and playing style bamboozle his own players.
The one signing we know was his, was Emil Lyng.
He single handedly lost the first leg v livi with that ridiculous substitution.
He blethers an abundance of ****e before, during and after every match.
He may have a half decent cv, but at Tannadice he is an embarrasment.
There is not one positive thing to take from his time in charge.
    Not a single bloody thing.
But apparently he should stay, because...Jim Mclean.

The first leg was lost because of defensive brain farts, nothing to do with the substitution. Don't get me wrong, I think Lyng is terrible BTW.

How can you say that? Lyng was the man closest to the scorer at the start of his run. Should have taken one for the team before the scorer got into the position to pressure Moshni and Robson. He then ran away from the scorer putting even more pressure on Moshni and Robson.

Lyng should never have been on in the first place! If he is not there, Robson puts in a challenge, Moshni reads the pass and nips in, and even King could have taken one for the team!

Shabba building a team at Utd should strike the absolute fear into everyone.
Remember David Obua? Shabba signed him. He was then released at the age of 28 and never played football again, eventually retiring at 31 as no one would sign him he was that ****e. Good enough for Shabba tho.

Dyche has had consistent success at Burnley. There was no need for patience.

Fergie at Man U did until they won FA cup have a lean spell but he was not making the basic elementary mistakes and taking the kind of gibberish exhibits by csaba

There is absolutely nothing in all aspects of csaba’s performance to date that suggests entrusting him with ten future of the club is a good idea.

Our rivals and the fun must be loving it as we let this clown do more damage to our club

Wrong, it was cost because our manager didn't make 2-3 subs in the 60-70 min period of the game when it was obvious tiredness was creeping in with the dunfermline match 3 nights before

The fact he made the sub he did when he did only compounded this

The defence of Csaba is as weak as it can get

Dyche was relegated with Burnley. 🤔
