A good day that has passed well and I wish the couple all the best for the future. I think Meghan may surprise us all and I know my relatives in New York have been watching the day’s events.

Being a staunch Royalist myself, this was Britain at its best. No one else is capable of pulling off an event with such pomp and ceremony with military precision. “Stand by me” happens to be one of my all time favourite songs and the Gospel choir nailed it! No question Bishop Curry’s words raised a few eyebrows, at one point Prince Chuckie looked like he was falling asleep. Nice to see the weather co-operated.

I’m a big fan of Harry and the Royals in general. In my mind the “Invictus Games” are brilliant, good for him for heading up such an inspiring event.

    God Save the Queen.

Meghan looked amazing and that tiara - wow,
    If she's black I'm Japanese.

It is reckoned, extra government supplied security is another £100 million down the drain...

The preferred official umbrella term is "black and minority ethnic" (BME), but sometimes the term "black" is used on its own, to express unified opposition to racism.

It's a welcome boost to the economy surely isn't it ? We've had enough of austerity, overtime for hundreds of police and military boosting their spending power, tourists spending in the shops, cafes and restaurants, this is what a thriving, buoyant economy looks like, this is how it works, prosperity being spread all round.

Only a miserable, penny-pinching Tory could moan about the economics of a day like today, is that really you BT ?
