To championship after being relegated

I noticed that. I'd be interested to know how often this happens.... is what I was going to type before seeing the Sky Sports Statto feed you posted (first time ever, though only been 3 up 3 down since 1973/1974).
Also interesting and heartening to see that 22 of 23 league one playoff winners have survived their first Championship season (Yeovil only exception)
First time I can remember happening. Does this indicate a gap widening between Championship and Division 1. Also none of last season's promoted teams from the Championship went down. There is the top 6 in the premiership, but Burnley down to Sunderland there is less of a difference?
But the likes of us and Barnsley being better division 1 but struggling in the Championship.

I think it shows that the current level of our club is bottom champ top L1. With right improvements we can aim higher just don’t get any DB in or it will weigh us down again
Wigan and maybe Blackburn were expected to be up there, but did any of you fans really expect an immediate promotion, based on the disappointing relegation season ?. This is unusual though isn't it where all 3 teams have gone straight back up.
And that sounds sensible Casper, I hoped for an immediate challenge 4 years ago when we last went down to this league, and it just didn't work out under Danny Wilson the second time around.
Yes surely Sunderland won't be as bad again, and Burton could surprise a few espeically if they keep hold of Cloughie Jnr. Charlton can't be ignored and neither can Portsmouth, and now Cov (and a certain Mark Robins) are back up there.
Given that it took Sheffield U six years to achieve promotion from League 1 back to the Championship and Leeds U three years it is an amazing achievement by us. Not quite as amazing for Wigan and Blackburn, as to some extent they have "bought" promotion, but they have still done well as many clubs have tried to do the same and failed.
