I only tried jellied eels once Alf and they are disgusting things that feed on sewage.

Speaking of poor sitcoms Chalky, I do like Citizen Khan on the Bbc and yes I know its naff and it plays up to stereotypes etc.
But even though Ive tried I just can't find owt funny about Peter Kay's Car share. Yes I laughed at the ginger bird's misconception about what 'dogging' is, and maybe that bit where they gave a lift to the annoying bloke from the fishmongers etc.. but thats the only funny thing I can think of throughout the entire TWO series.

I had forgotten about the sketch about giving the fishmonger a lift, the way that Keighley had that car air freshner wrapped around her face had me in stitches
Citizen Khan,I quite like this myself, the only character that I think ruins it is the doppy boyfriend of the daughter, kinder spoils it for me
I tell you what is genuinely surprising about CK and that is the acting and makeup of Adil Ray,the first couple of episodes i watched i sat there wondering when he was going to make an appearance

Adil Ray is superb isn't he in that role, I couldn't believe it was him when I saw him without the Mr Khan 'disguise'. The dopey son-in-law makes me laugh as well though, it just shows what appeals to one doesn't appeal to another etc. The one who bores me the most is the wifes mam, and Im not keen either on the youngest and so called 'slu*tiest' daughter.

What I found funny about that fishmonger scene in Car share was how they tried to keep a straight face during the out takes!. He was trying to sing rap or summat wasn't he, and they just couldn't stand the sound or the smell of him lol. I kept wondering if Peter and the bird 'would' in the end, and I suppose thats finally happened has it ?.

Yes Tricky, I can see why people would think that because as I said its stereotypical nonsense, but for some reason it makes me laugh and that counts a lot for me when it comes to a sitcom.
