i wasnt assuming
it was a figure i thought of that would maybe make people say yes or no
if we got 14 mill a season i would seriously consider it
i mean its a name that i would still only call it st james park
for years people have called me steve
it isnt my real name
and those close call me by my real name
for 2 mill i wouldnt and indeed 8 mill i wouldnt unless it was part of a wider sponsorship package
but m merely trying to make a point and not an argument
Can you explain why you keep saying he has kept us in a decent financial position
Then explain why we don't have money to spend even though the club amassed £130m last year
That wasn't because of Ashleys input either
A little bit of building the squad rather than sell a few high buy a few cheap and hope it works
If he speculates now and let's the club have a go the rewards for both Newcastle United and Ashley could be immense
I don't really need to explain, it's there for us all to see. We owe nothing to banks. We run in house and pay bills.
We are not in any dire position in any way shape or form.
We do have money to spend.
Who said we don't?
Ashley owns the club. Anything the club accrues or not is part of Ashley's input whether directly or indirectly.
The squad does get built but when the elite come calling or clubs come calling for players who express interest in them and become unsettled...what do you do?
Unless you can name the players we deliberately sold who were so keen to stay?
Yep...could be.
The potential downfall for a go at the elite 6 could also be by negative percentage...mammoth.
Unless having a go means something different in what you're getting at.
In this mental market, tell me what we need to be looking at for a chance to have a go, as you say?
