FA and Prem stick two fingers up to EFL

Obviously this was always going to happen whether EFL clubs were in favour or not

They have announced that there will be a two week break in February from season 2019/20 which to suit sky (should have put them in title I suppose) the Prem games will be staggered so that there will be some games going ahead in them weeks

The FA cup fifth round will be moved to midweek with replays abolished.

I suppose I should be grateful they haven’t abolished the oldest national football cup competition in the world (I’m sure it’ll come one day)

I know it won’t bother some but it has me and that’s my rant over with

To be fair they have less games than us so they can afford to take time off. Funny really how they drag the trumped up league on

Makes me laugh how they dress it up as 'we play too much football' but i gaurantee that the clubs, during the 'break' will be organising games with other clubs on a 'break' from Europe for high profile money spinning games, and that, sadly, is what we've come to, a money spinning circus.
Look at pre-seasons now, 'mini' tournaments spring up in far flung places, all televised, the players get about 3 weeks rest before they're at it again fully in these tourneys, never see clubs moaning about player fitness then do we?
To be blunt, it's all money making bull shine, they should dress it as such, instead of bullshytting about player fatigue.

You're right -they cant even be bothered to properly cover up the money-making machine aspects of it all

They should not be allowed to do that.
