Are we a bigger shambles than we have ever been?

No assistant for Big Dave? Director of Football side-lined? No sign of any transfers in? Are we waiting to sell first doing it on the cheap? Premium home friendly fixture lined-up .... sky blues? Have we season ticket holders been conned (again)? After 48 years of attending games, am I really surprised ....

No season ticket for me this time.

As The Who once sang....”Won’t get fooled again”

I’ve watched some dreadful football in my 46 years of attending and few good seasons,we’ve never won anything of consequence.

I’ve watched every match as we have suffered relegations and I’ve sat in the freezing cold watching us on the big screen losing at Orient in the cup.

I’ve attended Autoglass Trophy matches etc.....it’s been a massive part of my life that I have sacrificed family time for.

Last season when in the fa cup match Southampton went 2-0 due to another calamitous bit of play I walked out of the ground utterly defeated and I haven’t been back since.

The strangest thing is.....,I haven’t missed it one bit.

I’ve sometimes heard results AFTER a match has finished not realising we were even playing!

For a club to drive such a wedge between itself and someone who’s been so intense about it over almost half a century takes some doing.

I can't buy that in the slightest. I remember when we were losing £30k per week and we had to sell Kilbane on the cheap to balance the books. I remember losing 5-1 at home to Crewe and 4-2 at home to Woking. I remember having to beat Portsmouth and Charlton on the last day to avoid relegation to what is now League One.

We've just been relegated after 8 solid and stable years in the premiership. We've sold 1 player who everyone expected to leave. What do you expect? All new signings to be made in June when every player is away on holiday...

We've got 3 years of parachute money still to receive and pre season training has just started.

We don't even know what Albion players will still be here come the start of the season. How do you expect the club to sign the type of players we need without knowing who will stay or go....

We haven't had one pre season friendly yet. Some of the negativity on here is just depressing.

So what if they do go...

As long as the club replace them its fine. If we sold a few of our 1st team and didn't replace them for the first game of the season, then its fair game to criticise.

Its not about happy clapping, its about allowing the club to do their business and then analysing afterwards. Not in June before we've kicked a ball.

Its not about doing our business early, even though we can't in terms of player purchases because we are waiting on who will go. Its about getting the right people in, whether they are an assistant manager or a player. I'm prepared to wait an extra week or month or however long it will be to get our recruitment right.

If the powers that be don't do that well, then yeah - criticise away and I'll probably join you. But I've no idea what you were expecting this early into pre season.

Nothing like a bit of hope! Then again - not looking good at the moment and in fact, it looks a complete mess!

It will all be Big Dave's fault in the end - can't be the Board or that Chinese little Runt's fault could it now!

I can’t be optimistic with the ghastly chinaman at the helm, clueless pr@t. Behind the scenes, I reckon the club is in turmoil and it would not surprise me if Big Dave soon realises that, he may well decide that his position is untenable. Here is a prediction for you, Darren Moore will have resigned by the end of August.

At least on this board, I can call the chinaman a clueless pr@t. No such free speech on some other boards!

Here here Kettering! When he pockets the parachute payment money, and cash from the transfers, he will be a greedy little w anker too!

Rumour is that the scouts are going down to Barnet in big numbers - to find that hidden talent!

PS - lets hope we have a goalie then ( kiss kiss the badge, I will stay committed to West Brom ) - Mr Ben Foster!! And to you Mr Dawson - do remember your roots - now let me see - mightly Rochdale!!!! Kiss kiss the West Brom badge!
