I still think you need some experience as well as "young, hungry players".

That was Barnsley's plan last season, playing young players and they got relegated.

Obviously we have a few from that last season in the Championship; Newell, Vaulks, Mattock, Ajayi, Wood, but they might have been somewhat traumatised by it.

Good point and I'd agree with that.
Hopefully the Cardiff friendly might bear some dividends regarding a player or two with cship credentials

Yes maybe but you run the risk of raising the wage levels across the board. Plus it would be disaster if we signed a highly paid championship veteran that isn’t a human being and doesn’t like barbecues

Surely any contractual/wages issues with the Rodak deal should have been agreed some time ago. If this has fallen through at the last minute I imagine Warne will be livid ! Probably why we are now panicking into re-signing Price.
