One thing for sure is that the Russians

will give England full support in the semi v Croatia.

If we couldn't beat either of tonight's teams in the next game it will be bad.

I thought they were both poor and we really got the easiest run in by losing that last group game to Belgium.

I think Croatia weren't as good as they have been but overall they are a good tough side who are hard to beat.

It'll be a tough tough game i think.

I thought it was a great game entertainment-wise to be honest, but yeah - none of the teams looked like potential WC-winners.

It's a bit of a lottery at this stage, Croatia could up their game against the Brits or they could lose 3 or 4-0. We'll know at some point on Wednesday!

If Engerland don’t make the final they’ll never have had a better chance. Aye Croatia have 3/4 good players but they are cr&p at the back and have had extra time and the emotion of pens that Engerland didn’t have. Virtually half a day rest on top.

If Croatia play like they did against Argentina then England are in for a tough game. I hope their form stays the same as the last 2 games. Having said that they have ground out a couple of wins in adverse situations and just knocked out the hosts on their own turf. England will need to play well but they can do it.

The form of their side seems to coincide with Modric's performance - keeping him quiet will be key.

You have hit the nail on the head about Modric and we have the advantage that some of our team have played against him in his two seasons at Spurs as well as that the younger members of our team will have watched him closely as his excellent play was featured evry single week.

I think also Southgate and team will have Modic well analysed.

I'm sorry to say this to you all, but the whole world will be mocking England/the England team for a long time if you don't win after all the "it's coming home"- talk

I'm sure there will be some funny memes floating around social media if it happens. However, I wish you all the best in the (hopefully) two remaining games.

Can mock me all they like. With the squad we have,I was over the moon with quarter finals.Every extra game is a bonus now.But being English we shouldn't get excited. After all Northern Ireland and the Welsh didn't celebrate and go over board did they at the last Euros.Because it's England though we must reign it in.Not likely.

For ever the "OPTOMIST" aren't you . Try to be a realist from time to time.
