I can't get my head around whether or not you are a troll so this might not be worth it, but you realize that what you're saying is contradictory right? You see the whole point is that Rafa has to let players go in order to get new ones in. The only way to replace a player under Ashley is to sell him first, but even then it seems that the manager is not allowed to spend reasonable dough on a replacement - otherwise we would have brought more players in.

You got it the wrong way around. He won't sign the contract exactly because Ashley is not giving him re-assurances of funds to improve on the squad. If Rafa signed the contract there are no guarantees he would be able to bring the players of the quality we need - so why should he sign it?
