I get that but when you look at our squad most of those are going to have to play quite a lot this season or st least be our options on the bench!

I am thinking that is the point of the exercise for Biesla, he has now confirmed who he can depend on in match situations, hence why we suddenly appear to have kicked into gear on the transfer front.

Suspect he is using friendlies for that and assessing match day fitness.

Roberts goal looked good - fingers crossed he stays fit.

There is more shape and clear strategy to our play for any a month too.

will be interesting to see the team against Las Palmas and if full strength how they play.

Ayling in pre season has reinforced how badly he was missed last season during the post Christmas wilderness.

Been impressed with with what I have seen of Klich too. Also like a new signing given PH had decided he was out the door.

Ayling and Douglas as wing backs would be awesome

These are only pre season 'friendlies' of course lads, and Im sure none of us are taking these results too seriously are we.
BUT, just out of interest we've got Oxford at home on the opening day of the new season. Did they look like a decent team, and could they be a dark horse in Lg One this season etc ?.
