Huge effort. I'm worried about Sunday now with the effort the players put in.

    Did us proud.

Great effort from the players and the fans. My loon was there (on my ticket) and he said it was absolutely incredible. Just a pity we have a penny pinching board and a negative manager.

    Negative manager?

You obviously watched a different game to me as I thought we held our own, got up the park as often as we could and had some decent spells of possession.

Not much more he could have done to change things. Wright on for McGinn, Ball on for Hoban who took a heavy knock to the knee and then May on for Cosgrove.

Extra time was a more attacking midfielder in Forrester on for Ferguson. Not sure what else you expected.

Amazingly nobody had it on in Belize City but watched it on my phone. Kept refreshing though but from what I did get to see, Aberdeen looked good. Just missing that edge, probably a striker that can actually score. Couple of mistakes here and there that we've been making for decades now but Burnley are a decent team. One of the tougher teams we could have got from guffland. Big fit laddies.

Going into extra time is no excuse for Sunday though. Everyone said the same about Croatia before the England game. If we aren't up for Sunday then we should throw the towel in.

After today we should and will be right up for it. We should be rogering them.

Proud to be a dandy in terms of performance, especially with the squad we have.

However, im not proud to be a 2 time European Trophy champion getting knocked out before it starts.

I agree, not in the game today. But in the close season, he should be knocking down Milne’s door demanding more money. McInnes is too cosy with Milne. How many times will we “just miss out” on a player, or let our no. 9 go because we might upset him.

McInnes always takes the easy option. He is an ok tactician with absolutely no cahones.
