This was always going to happen as soon as Boro got the £15m. It was just a matter of whether them or Derby managed to offload first. If neither had offloaded we might have had a chance, but you know what, sod him. We move on.

Ive said it before that I don't rate him
He would just encourage further hoofball from our midfield who have already lapsed into hoofball due to their inability to control the ball properly

    It's a sideways pass, mis-control
    Another sideways pass, mis-control
Get put under pressure due to not being able to control a football .......so hoof it.

    Repeat for 90 minutes

So Waggs is off to Middlesbrough and I suppose is nailed on to score against us on his debut...
That will be a bitter pill to swallow given the hype and expectation... I am not going to lie
But when I stand amongst fellow Blades at their ground what I’ll be looking most for is a reaction to Satdi from us...
Plus Waggs was never worth the higher investment imho....
From Chris in terms of the formation and game plan and from the players some streetwise *******s...
We did alreet on Satdi for the most part but on countless times the wrong decision was made beit in our box around theirs or in the middle handing the iniative back to the Swans...
    Cross the ball productively
Slow as Clarke is he will get on the end of it
Stop **** short corners unless the cross is productive
If wingers up high are blocking our WBs
Play through the centre in a direct way
Push Fleck further up drop Evans or Lundy and get some triangles going
    But stop the sideways ****
Balls coming straight back are ok off the front two but not off our midfielders
If we haven’t got scary **** pace then use your noodle - triangles in a direct fashion
    That’s scary **** enough
Oh and we haven’t missed the boat put in a drop dead bid for Freeman....
Be worth more to us than Waggs all day long
    Rant iver

i also think the bid we put in for waghorn was a fair one and boro have steamed in paying over the odds on the back of selling gibson for 15m as for these teams sussing our wing backs out its up to our management team to change tactics to counter it and we never seem to do that it just seems to be plan a or bust and i do think chris is going to have to be a bit cleverer in the tactic department or were in for a difficult season utb ftp

Just said similar on dbs thread SOB perhaps we need to change tactics to suit the players available as for waghorn I wasn't convinced but chris wanted him and he was one of the few I thought was attainable wages wise so was willing it to happen but he's hung on just long enough to get the move he was probably always after. Chris said on fri he had other irons in the fire if this didn't come off I just hope he gets one over the line as time is running out otherwise it looks like being a loan
The biggest problem is definately agents we can be as discreet as we like but you can guarantee all the media leaks are the agents hawking their meat around the market

Just don't play Fleck on the left.
