The one that irritates me most is the player who intentionally runs in front of another player, initiates contact, then falls down. This is done quite intentionally and is deliberate cheating, but the referee will award the cheating player a free kick every time, without fail. Referees can't possibly be so naïve they aren't aware of what these players are doing, but they allow them to get away with cheating every time. Imo that makes them complicit in the cheating that's ruining the game.

as you mention it - Sinkov.....been looking at the "foul" on wood that gave us the Penalty....Olympicos player wins the ball and chases it - his path is direct enough - Wood moves to win it - but is it him that crosses into the path of the Olymp man.... and impedes him - did the ref get it right ?....or was Wood looking for it - I'm tempted to believe he was.

Cheers Norder, I hadn't seen that before, and we got a penalty for that ???? FFS, no wonder there were a few cross Greeks in the tunnel at half-time.
I'm seriously beginning to wonder if it's worth the time and expense to watch football any more, most games seem to be decided by idiotic referees these days, not the players, so what's the point ?
