Hegazi was probably Player of the Season last Year after Foster. Not just my view - "Baggies.com" (where fans give marks out of 10) had him just about Top.
He could have done with a few weeks rest after the World Cup, and (for all we know) he could be missing Jonny Evans talking to him, but he hasn't suddenly become a bad player.
Absolutely, thats why we're on here. To give our opinions and we all have one.

I rate Hegazi but he has been under par this season. He and Dawson were pretty solid together last season. Think we won all of our prem games last season (And kept clean sheets) with those two as centre halves.

The player who hasn't convinced me yet is Bartley, but its still early days and he has the attributes to be a brilliant defender so let's see...

Just my opinion of him mate. No problems if you disagree. Boingy is giving me someone elses opinion of him. Not his own.
Here's mine then....I think he's solid....but having a less than impressive season so far. My point on commentators is that they are different every week and they all rated him.....is all

I thought the Premier League was above his level. I was hoping he would be more suited to the Championship. So far he is not. This opinion is based on seeing him play every single home game and not what Danny Murphy tells me.

I must admit that I was impressed by Hegazi when he first came to the club. However, his form deteriorated towards the end of last season and he had a poor World Cup. His form hasn't improved this season and, at the moment, doesnt warrant a place in the starting line up. As I have said previously, I would like to see a centre back combination of Tosin and Dawson. I am sure Hegazi is a better player than what we have seen recently but he needs to up his game to warrant a starting place in my opinion.

    He cost £4m.

I don't think he has become a bad player overnight, I personally think we need leadership at the back.

This Bartley guy is probably eroding his confidence by always blaming others, including hegazi for everything.

We desperately need leadership on the pitch, because despite the aging squad we haven't got a stand out leader like fletcher was.
