People actually take notice of these 5 year plans?

    Incredible!

You mean KN thought AH was talking bullsh!t. No wonder he was sacked. Or do you mean AH was talking bullsh!t - well that's the modern commercial world init? Or you mean we should just ignore what our owner says - well there's some sense in that - you go up and tell him he's spouting rubbish which you're going to ignore.

Or, you keep supporting the club, whatever happens.

Exactly right but there are times when you need to voice concern.

I'm in this camp, for a change. We are Notts County, we move on. The worries are overplayed anyway, AH is saying all I can do is select the best team for my new structure and one which I believe will give us the best chance to fulfil our ambitions

New structure implies someone above HK making decisions about playing staff, to me. Nolan's shopping list didn't really work, did it?

Yep, that's pretty much it. All these 5 year plans and the like going right back to '8 through the gate' are best ignored.

All clubs come up with them, but I would guess that less than 5% of them actually materialise.

It's not the club coming up with it - it is the man entrusted with our club. It worries me because you can see it, I can see it but the AHs and RTs of the world can't. How much money can you raise? Get Durham on board and we can romp this league.
