Can you see us offering Blacburn the type of deal that they would even consider because I can't? I'll be very surprised if we get the type of quality player that we require. Mr Lai was recently quoted as having assets worth £4billion. The Albion probably accounts for around 4.5% of his assets, so his main attention will be elsewhere, which is understandable. I think he bought the club purely as a speculative investment, but it's obvious that he has been let down big time by poor decision making by people he entrusted to look after his investment. Selling Chadli for me is the first step to recover cash, thus strengthening the balance sheet. Bringing Jenkins back was a signal of the club's intent to revert to policies practiced by Peace. We may be surprised later on, but it's obvious that BD is now part of the spin, and I find that regrettable.
