1 option There's a bit of grass verge/ ditch running
Parallel to the service road and railway tracks this could be made wider and fenced of though I would have thought a few thousand away fans going down there would be a bigger bottle neck than don street. They would still need to merge back onto the main road near where the burger van sits on the bridge

Option 2 Other side is toll path so merge back into rufc fans.
3 options. bridge over river or railway tracks

That ditch goes under the road via a disused bridge arch (near to where popeyes burger van parks) however the exit is blocked because of the fence around the car park of the police station.

    So possible but not likely

Maybe steps up ground side of road rather than under the road. Either way it's a huge bottleneck when 2600 away fans arrive

Quite a few use coaches so won’t be 2600 unless it’s a derby game when Rotherham owls turn up

Still it’s better than 6,000+Home fans having to use Don st.

the original plan for away fans was, up Stadium way at the side of railway then under the bridge and thro part of the Police carpark to the station area......
    OR,
just keep them in for 5 mins and all problems solved. This "human rights" sh*te doesn't seen to bother them in the Premier League, so really RUFC should stop telling lies and get on with it.

Erm.. they are getting on with it, waiting on planning permission.
When given then the club are hoping to get the away exit done for Christmas (didn’t say what year though )

Actually building a Bailey bridge would be a better heritage statement for Rotherham than preserving the old bricks of G&C
