Because it’s a fans forum and it makes a change from moaning about McInnes all the time.

I merely said I heard they both weren’t going to sign because they wanted to try their luck in England,it’s not a big deal but it’s good to know you shouldn’t bother posting anything you have heard unless it’s from someone important inside Pittodrie.

No need to apologise fth, I was just curious why you said I was pishing my pants because I heard they might be leaving.

Read an interview with GMS at the weekend where he was being very positive about the club and putting the resurgence in his form down to how much he felt "wanted" at Aberdeen. I know you can't read too much into this stuff, but he sounded like a guy who was feeling good about life and enjoying his football after coming out of a long, unhappy spell of trying to establish himself at a bigger club. It's taken him a season here to look like he's repaired the damage. I have my doubts he'd want to risk being back in the same boat next season.

It may well be he "wants" to stay but are the club willing to make him the offer he deserves to stay? It's our annual constant problem with our better players who I think enjoy it here, but we penny-pinch and have such a rigid wage structure despite bringing in money all over the shop that it never surprises me that they end up leaving for 2nd and 3rd tier in England.
