As to ST if he's sold his holding why or how could he be still driving decisionmaking? Doesn't seem to make sense to someone like me from a distance
MM and ST remain friends with business links.

ST remains listed at Companies House as a person of significant control with a shareholding between 50 and 75% of the Company.

It could be a reasonable conclusion that putting MM in charge was all part of ST’s only route to getting season tickets sold......he had to appear to disappear but he’s not gone, still got a hand on the tiller of the sinking ship.

My friend's son is 14 and came home last week to tell his Dad that he no longer is a Dundee United supporter and wants a Celtic scarf.

We are losing a generation if we are not careful.

If it's confirmed that ST still has a majority shareholding in the Club then this would signal a huge betrayal of us fans.
We have been made mugs of by all those running the Club.
Our loyalty has been taken for granted and our money has been taken under false pretences. Unforgivable. If shown to be true then that will be the final straw for me. Finished with United and finished with football in general. A parcel of rogues t throughout the game now.

Could he (ST) not be done for fraud, if indeed that is the case?

Same for me, still clinging onto the idea that this is a monumental but temporary bad spell for the club and that it will get better.
If the outcome of all this pain is Dundee United goes defunct or merges into Dundee City then I will never follow a football game ever again.

First of all I think we should all stay calm until we get the facts here.

We were told that ST had sold his shareholding to I believe MM and others. It was reported in the press. Did not MM confirm that the shares had been transferred? Are you trying to say it's not true? Because that's a very big accusation to make without proof to back it up.

Hoofballer you refer to Companies House listing. I'm not going there but we need to see proof that ST remains a shareholder please because without proof these kind of allegations grow legs.

Looking at Companies House (BETA) United were pretty good at updating Filing History of shareholders.......until June this year.

James M Martin still shows 33462 Shares and as a person of Significant shareholding (25% and up to 49.499%) but not as Controlling Shareholding
and Stephen E Thompson holding 51130 Shares.

I would have throught the paperwork for the changes since would have been there by now......so has it actually happened ?
