Around the ground wasn't too great. Ive seen fan friendlier places (Valerenga was to of the pops)
There is a huge supporters bar with multiple screens throughout. You can access the empty stadium from there(see the empty photo). Its cool to do. But the bar was immediate serving although it was rammed. I stood and watched Heracles v Emmen on the box while most folk watched the grand prix on the other screens, but soon as I wanted a pint I got one.Good pre game watering hole, well set up.
Away end was safe standing. Quite common thing that I have noticed. Pictured right of the giant strip in the empty photo
There was a 3g pitch next to the ground where kids could have a kick about, which a lot of kids seemed to do. It did say it was a fanzone so I don't know what else it entailed as I walked past on my quest for a scarf and a pint.
Club shop was huge. It was joined on to the museum which was free to enter
Free shuttle busses to the train station which was good as I was heading straight to the airport after
The cleanest toilets ive ever seen a fitba ground too. Didn't want to take a photo as that would have looked weird
As a stadium I cant fault it. Im no new build fan but I appreciate one when I see one and this is a good een. Also see the Swissproarena in Luzern, Weststadion in Vienna and Galgenwaard Stadion in Utrecht(A top stadium that) We would never have a ground like it as its four separate stands. Stands are almost vertical there. Atmosphere was excellent too. So out of all new build ive been too this would be a good one to be like
Hollands very much my favourite fitba destination these days. Going back for Go Ahead Eagles in January
