in our situation it's obvious what we need, a common sense appointment

could be struggling to get someone who agrees to live within 25 miles unless that doesn apply to the manager!

not sure thats true - all it takes is a bounce and an attitude in the team. Agree many manager could do the role. Managers and clubs have to fit.

Acting quickly may just lead to a knee jerk appointment that will see us drop to Falkirk levels. We are not too far off that a recovery isnt possible, but i expect we will struggle to maintain a play-off place unless we can pull a rabbit oot the hat!

Neilson and McIntyre seem the best two candidates. My preference is for McIntyre but I’d be happy with either.

Like I said in the other thread, he hadn't managed a big Scottish club with our expectations, and too many other negatives about him, I feel uneasy about him being a choice
