Thread: maybe our players are fed up just running

Tahts a great point. His dad also said it took him a year to lose the fat. It was tough to deal with. He looks skinny now compared to our old tripps

My son bought shirts signed by players after recent games such as Ward; Lowton and Hendrick.

It amazed us just how small the shirts were.

No sign of excess fat at all.

    Our problems really are
1 we don't get the ball much in a game. How can you with 35% possession?
    2. we are not guilty of running with the ball; we are not guilty of running into attack that much anyway.
    3. It would be a good ploy to introduce players to the ball in training so that they can practice with it.
The saying generally means the ball is moved around the pitch with good passing.. I think!

I have always used that expression when I tell lads not to run around dribbling and beating a man (sometimes twice) but

To "let the ball do the work" and pass it off first time achieving a better result whilst lessening the risk of being caught in possession.

"Let the ball do the work" rather than over finesse by running with it.

It comes down to the same thing as you say Saxo but with a small degree of criticism for the player not letting the ball do the work.
