And then the radical Muslims step in and another hot waterbed of terrorism erupts.

If you can go to bed with a nutter who has murdered his relation by artillery fire and poisoned his brother (North Korea) then when is it a hanging offence for another country who kills a dissident?

Russia poisons its ex-citizens abroad. Are we seeking the downfall of Putin?

I am by no means condoning Saudi Arabia who rule by getting ride of dissidents but with all the radicals including Boko Haram running around kidnapping and killing children and anyone Christian there does seem to be a need for a scale of response rather than always taking the high moral ground against whatever wrong is shown up in the press at any one time.

Why rail against the "wrong of the day" but do nothing for the wrong being done all the time?

I guess its all part of the one minute "expertise" being beamed at us in world wide news today.

The world is a complex and often quite evil place where the "truth" is rarely available.

The Saudis are pragmatic, if it's in their interests to replace one individual they will do it. Nothing much else will change, this guy has been eliminated because he was a supporter of radical muslims, they won't be running Saudi anytime soon.

Mohammad Bin Salman was in all likelihood telephoned from Istanbul.

Script probably went something like this, "Boss, we have the troublemaker Jamal Khashoggi in the Embassy".

    Boss: "End the problem".

Two acid baths later - problem solved and the silence emanating from 10 Downing Street is deafening.

Seems like he was lured there quite deliberately, and the Saudi goons were already in place waiting for him. And what is it you want our government to say BT ?

Well for a start Sinkov there could be an official condemning the murder, then financial sanctions, expulsion of diplomats, freezing assets etc because that is what this government would have been all too quick to do if the reporter had disappeared inside the Russian embassy.
It is commonly known as hypocrisy.

I want the Cabinet to condemn these radical, medieval, murdering Islamic thugs, cancel all arms contracts and chuck the lot of them out of London. I want all assets frozen, all planes grounded, immediate sanctions imposed and the Foreign Office to close down our Saudi Embassy. I want all Saudi diplomats expelled today, I want all bank accounts of every Saudi domiciled here frozen and their Embassy boarded up.

Then again, I want Burnley to win the English Premier League and that ain't going to happen either.

This is going on all the time and nothing is ever done to address it, many Governments taking people out especially Journalists who have derogatory remarks to say against them, the main one's being lately with Putin killing and trying to kill ex Soviets, now the Saudis have got rid of Kashoggi, its the in thing at the moment and it is not being dealt with and it will happen a lot more.

So be careful what you say BT

Here we go BT, Liam Fox now reported as considering pulling out of a Conference in Riyadh later this month. That'll teach 'em. Don't feck with us Brits.
