nullify smith .....really brin ... smith was outstanding today best player on the pitch .. he ran there back line ragged .they could'nt handle him, he won headers tackles . and his foot work and skill on the floor was fantastic .had his shot that hit the post had gone in it would have been a 10/10 performance .every team put two players on him .. he is that good . nobody had nullifed him all season .

Decent performance, and bags of effort, and a fair result for me on chances created.
Disappointed with the goal conceded. A free-kick in a position we had already scored from, but chose to dink it into the box, a tactic that failed all match.
Really is the type of game we have to win, given our abysmal away form.

    Fine lines.

Great effort from the team, tactics? Fed up of repeating the same old thing in 1 up front doesn't work in EVERY game.

Now officially the Championship's lowest goal scorers.

Chances a plenty, poor finishing all round apart from Vaulks superb free kick.

Smith was very unlucky not to have scored a beauty today.

Mattock should not have let the ball bounce only to get out muscled by Donaldson, with the inevitable equaliser.

Great display from Rodak today and the penalty save was outstanding.

We're triers but, it ain't good enough when you've dropped 6 points in your last 3 home games when all 9 points were there for the taking.
I think that the fact that we created chances a plenty but were let down by poor finishing suggests that the tactics were right but the quality of our players is the problem.

You're missing my point. Putting two centre halves on him stops HIM from scoring as he has no one backing him up. Yes he fantastically put himself about today and his goal return? I am not aiming this at Smith as he is probably one of 5 players who are delivering tops every game, my point is because he is a 'lone striker' he so easy to stop from scoring.

Sorry Brin, but if you thought Bolton nullified smith today, then I was watching another game. He totally dominated their defenders but didn't get enough support.

People are saying we're still doing well at home but the wins have turned into draws.

Not being even able to get those away it's not looking good TBH.

Think we look a bit more dangerous with Williams feeding off him but he's not prolific himself Now that Doidge would be ideal!

The lack of goals is a worry, the lack of being able at the moment to get any points away is a worry.
After all that, we certainly have a squad that can give it a real go in this division.
This squad of players are nothing like the squad we had last time but we certainly need to take our chances when they come.

I wouldn’t swap their team for ours.
Smiths shot goes in and it’s 3 points fine margins.
Onto Middlesbrough I’m going and looking forward to it.

I think if they can get Stephen Ireland fit & playing well they will be safe.
