He's has well over £120 million to deal with by transferring out and bringing in players he wanted.
Surely he must be bringing in better or else why sell?
If you think he's been stopped from bringing in top targets than give me some names that the club has refused to sanction for him.
The man has had way long enough to build a squad that can compete.
Clearly he's not doing his job and I for one would not hand him one more penny...but if I was the owner I would absolutely end his contract and bring in someone who I can at least get to arrest this depressive slide due to bad coaching and management.
Go through all transfers not just purchased and you will see a profit. Now in this day and age is it too much to ask that if you sell what you think is not good enough and turn a profit you can bring better in.I don't think it is.
I gave you 3 name just from this summer. There will be more.Plea,Rondon permanent not loan and Townsend.
I can't be ar5ed with this.Has anyone got a hammer and chisel.I am off for an intelligent conversation with the wall.Get more sense out of that than the Ashley sympathiser Ghostboro.
I'm not interested in profit. It means nothing to me.
I'm interested in a Newcastle United football team whether it's gained by selling Joe Bloggs who cost £10 and sold for £35 million, with 25 million spend on players from that sale, leaving a profit and also players.
I do not have to see my club spend 50 million without recouping anything for me to think we are going somewhere.
Not at all. It's good business.
Can you tell me who we've sold (under Rafa) that wasn't good enough and not replaced with better?
Can you give me some more info on this plea and why Rafa didn't get him?
As for Rondon. Do you think we should have spent 17 million or so on buying him outright?
And as for Townsend. Do you think he wanted to come to Newcastle again, because it appears he refused...or am ai wrong on this?
As I said before, it's your prerogative.

By my reckoning this is what Rafa has spent and has sold whilst at the club since he became manager in March 2016. Some ie Hanley have been bought then sold on:
SPENT
GK - Sels £5m and Dubravka £4m Total £9m
Defence - Yedlin£5m, Clark £5m, Hanley £5m, Manquillo £4m, Le Jeune £9.5m, Fernandez £6m, Schar £3m Total £37.5m
Midfield - Diame £5m, Hayden £5m, Atsu £6.2m, Ritchie £12m, J Murphy £12m Total £40.2m
Strikers - Gayle £12m, D Murphy £5m, Joselu £5m, Muto £9.5m Total £31.5m
OVERALL TOTAL SPENT £37.5 + 40.2 + 31.5 = £109.2m
SOLD
Janmatt £7.5m, Townsend £13m, Wijnaldum £25m, Sissoko £30m, Sels £3m, Hanley £3.5m, D Murphy £3m, Mbemba £5m, Armstrong £1.5m, Mitro £22m Total £113.5m
TOTAL SALES £113.5m
Releases, free's and loans
Krul free, Gamez free both in and out, Goode released, Haidara released Colback loan (out), Aarons loan (out), Ki free (in) Kenedy loan (in), Rondon loan (in), Slimani loan (in) and Gayle loan (out).
£113.5
£109.2
---------
£ 4.3m -
Rafa is £4.3m in the BLACK in respect of incomings and outgoings. How long does the austerity of the last relegation need to go on?
6 of our Championship squad are still either in or are on the fringes of our first team, not including Shelvey, Dummett, Elliott and Darlow.
The likes of Hanley, Krul, Haidara, Gamez, Sissoko, Wijnaldum et al have gone and they will all have been on at least £25/30k per week each. Yes that will have been swallowed up by Ki, Rondon, Kenedy's wages but there wont be a huge difference.

I don't see Merino in that.
Or Lazaar.
Ok thought I’d miss one or two it did take about 45 mins to think about!
Lazaar £5m (i think he was actually £3.5m but benefit of the doubt) and Merino bought for £5m and sold for £10m so £10m out and £10m in therefore:
£119.2 spent and £123.5 brought in. It’s still -£4.3m!!!
But when clubs such as wolves fulham are spending that in one transfer window without selling players just shows why we are where we are. And while they sign good players that have played champions league football, we sign championship players....
Championship vs champions leauge players... Who wins?
