This is the sad thing about our world just now. There is a total lack of common sense. You are either left or right, with no common ground. Debate is out of the window as you are called racist, fascist etc etc. And now with Brexit, it seems that everyone knows what will happen before it does. I wished I could see into the future and know if I will be 5% worse off, or if the world will end (then I wouldn't care about the 5%), or will Brexit be great and that leaving the EU would trigger it's demise. I, and no-one will know till afterwards if this is the correct or wrong decision. Until this point, we can speculate and put forward our views, but when it gets stated that this will happen, or that will happen, then sorry, but that is just one load of bull as no-one knows.Originally Posted by tarquinbeech
Lets just see what happens and then deal with it as and when things arise. Look at the USA. Lots of people said that Trump would turn America into a **** show. Now, as much as I think the guy is a total K***, he has done wonders for the economy, and is getting trade deals that are much better for his country. You may not like his style, but he deserves credit for what he has achieved and it is refreshing to hear someone telling it how it is and not the typical politician wishy washy avoid the answer talk. To be honest, I think we could do with Trump negotiating a Brexit deal for us as you know it would get done with good terms.
