Why do they shorten the word "Bicycle" to the word "Bike" ?
Why is there a letter "K" in "Bike".
Should it not be spelt "Bice"or "Bic" ?

Very profound observation Tricky! I don’t know why people write bike instead of bic. On the same line the French name for a bicycle is Vélo....does anybody know why a stadium built for track racing is known as a Velodrome instead of a Bicycledrome?

I know a velodrome is oval but i don't know what oval means in French.
Maybe someone can enlighten us ?

I would imagine Spurs fans up North would live somewhere a bit more fashionable than Burnley to be honest!
