The owner was a nice, intelligent man.

Two very different approaches to running PL football clubs - Leicester and Newcastle.

Which one is more profitable, Mike?

Also which approach is favoured by both the manager and the supporters.

    Good point.

Depends on how you define profit. Its not always measured financially. This man will be remembered fondly.

They will still be talking about the title in 100 years. Hows that for a legacy.

The irony is, if he'd invested properly and run us properly, he could have sold us at a huge profit and with a massively enhanced reputation.

Does anyone think that in some way this tragedy will act as a catalyst for a change in Ashley's attitude & demeanour ? Surely to goodness he has an ounce of compassion which may result in a change of direction on his part.Forlorn hope I know & if by some miracle this happens it will be too little too late. If nothing else surely even he can see how much loved this amazing man was by the City at large.Does he care? I suspect not! Says it all.

this wont change Ashleys attitude at all. He is all about self. He has always been a sneaky selfish person. The rot is set in too deep with him. He will never change. Even if he starts to do things differently, there will be a reason for it which ultimately benefits him and SD

The massive impact and increase in sales and profitability on his whole business empire, (far outweighing the price of a football club); goodwill generated for years to come, huge respect and affection from the wider world of decent minded people..........in short, the construction of a truly fantastic legacy. Consequences are the result of behaviour informed by personal motives, deeply held values, and beliefs. The character of the person concerned becomes obvious for everyone to see. A stark contrast indeed.

I know which choice I try to make on a daily basis and send my deepest respects and condolences to the close and wider families of those so tragically killed at Leicester.

Absolutely dreadful news for the families and also Leicester. Ashley is a self centred, egotistical, narcissistic oaf. He’s gone too far to change and tbh I personally don’t want him to change as I can’t stand him as a person. I don’t want him linked to OUR club in any way.

He isn’t fit to lace Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha’s boots. There are two types of people in this world good and evil and we know which side of the fence Ashley is on.

I concur with what you guys have been posting. My thoughts are with the families of the deceased. As many have said the contrast between both owners could not be starker.

    RIP to those good people.
