Glenn Hoddle

Going back to my other post on this thread, I think Glenn has been unlucky as both a player and a manager for the England team.

We were really onto something with him in charge and its unfortunate for him and for all of us that he was more or less forced out after WCup '98. Punish him somehow if you have to, because of certain 'comments', but to hound him out of the job he had like they did was disgraceful!.
If theres one thing I didn't and don't agree with him on though is his ignorant views of the Championship, when it comes to looking for Intl players outside of the Prem.

I've worked. laughed and grieved with and for quite a few disabled people over the years but I don't despise Hoddle for having a belief.

Hoddle has had nothing but well wishers from around the world and the place where I see criticism of him is right here on an England forum

I wouldn't worry Gaz,there will be more than Hoddle criticised on here in the future.. At least we all agree on him getting well quick and being one of the best English footballers in his time..

Of course he's going to do charity work,it's self preservation in his mind,if he doesn't do good in this life then hes going to come back disabled in the next according to his logic
There's lots of people who haven't forgiven him for what he said and I'm one of them,keep that charity publicity machine going Glenn
