Can we beat RC and Ayr. Yes if we play like we have been.

Glad someone is confident we can beat RC. I think its too early to beat them as i dont think we are playing at a good enough level as yet. My laddie said he thought we played better v ICT than we did at the weekend and i expect there will be a few dips like that this quarter.

Think the next 2 games will define our season and maybe beyond if we don't win any of them...we need McGowan back to give us a chance ...the lack of fight last night was embarrassing

I think the next 2 games will partially define both our seasons, but you should have left McGowan for another thread! The January window will be the other defining period.

Yir man Deacon seems to be the only one last night who seemed to give a feck, to a point, with the rest of them easily fitting into the same category as some of Uniteds finest failures of the last few seasons.

I am because ive been at the 3 games. of course there will be dips. Neilson has made us a big game fighting machine. no guarantees but ...

For me i’m enjoying watching United play now but if you look at the teams around us and those gone up recently they all have or had a reliable goal source....Shankland, Dobbie, Mckay and Morgan. So although we’ve got what looks to be a more stable and robust team under RN we may lose the odd game because we don’t have that guaranteed cheeky goal in us. Hence why I think a play-off is likely (that being said I’d fancy our chances against any of the bottom 3-4 of the PL).

Dundee on the other hand aren’t scoring at all, defending is absent, the team look clueless....BUT....the other teams around about them are equally honking. Pretty sure JMac will make a difference and might haul them up a position or two but play-offs looming for certain. (Conversely can’t see Dundee doing well against any of the top 3-4 Championship teams)
